i've been procrastinating SO hard lately it's unreal. so i saw these two with their homoerotic tension and i just had to draw you know (also in my gouache brush phase because the texture is Pleasing to someone who usually doesn't draw with any texture at all. we're probably going back to flattish colors soon though because sketching with paint is very time and morale consuming)

As the saying goes "Be cringe and be free!". I decided to make a self-indulgent piece with my D.Gray-man OC this time. I just absolutely gave in once I started sketching and I think it turned out rather nice!

Amongst branches devoid of color, a jumble of green leaves rustled above them. Bearing white berries instead of red.

The hands that rubbed themselves together for warmth finally felt clammy, and not because of her diligent work to maintain sense of feeling. Rex took one of them in his own and she could feel his eyes on her — his visible breath ghosting across her lekku.

Ahsoka tucked her bottom lip between her teeth as she looked up to meet his gaze.

It was well below freezing but his eyes had never been so warm. She couldn’t tell if they were twinkling on their own or if it was due to the holiday lights surrounding them.

He was no longer at his full height — weight shifted onto one leg and leaning ever forwards, ever into her orbit. Rex revolved around her and Ahsoka around him. He silently begged for permission to invade her space. But an invasion it was not.

She stood on her tip toes and welcomed it.
